    BHSI Names Amandi from Allianz as Head of Financial Institutions in Germany


    Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) announced that it has named Dr. Frank Amandi as head of Financial Institutions, for Executive and Professional Lines in Germany.

    Amandi has more than 20 years of experience spanning international insurance, underwriting, claims and product development. He was most recently deputy global head of Financial Institutions at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE in Germany. Before that, he spent 10 years at Chubb Insurance Co. of Europe SE, Dusseldorf. He holds a law degree from the University of Cologne.

    “We are pleased to have Frank leading our efforts to bring our robust suite of financial lines solutions to financial institutions across Germany. His deep expertise and dedication to helping institutions address dynamic risk challenges will serve our customers well,” said Andreas Krause, country manager, Germany, BHSI.

    BHSI offers a full array of financial lines products for financial institutions in Germany, including directors & officers liability, Side A D&O, commercial crime, fiduciary liability, fidelity bonds, financial errors & omissions, employment practices liability and excess professional liability insurance.
