CRC Group expands binding capabilities in the Midwest

CRC Group has announced the opening of a new Indianapolis office and several strategic hires as part of its goal to expand binding capabilities in the Midwest. The company is also considering M&A targets in the region.

Mark Maucere has been hired as office president of the new Indianapolis office, bringing with him more than 25 years of MGA experience.

In May, CRC Group hired Chris Janis as office president in Chicago to expand the CRC Binding operation there. Additional Midwest hires include Aimee Stumler, Joni Denny, LaDonna Hansen, Mary Wilson, Tony Armor, Brandy Seale, Evan Falkowski, Cal Rogers, Thomas Tobolic, Greg Price, Kristy Galecka, Leon Hilaski, Kyle Branson, and Steve Shapard. These hires helped expand CRC’s capabilities in the property and casualty binding, garage, and transportation business lines, the company said.

“We recognized that the Midwest region was an area of the country where there was an opportunity to invest in growing our capabilities,” said Dave Obenauer, CEO of CRC Group. “We are excited about the talent that has recently joined the team, and we will continue to expand our CRC Binding capabilities in the region over the next 12 months with continued investments in hiring, exploring acquisition opportunities, and continuing to build out our REDY platform, which leverages our data to make placing binding business faster and more efficient for our clients.”
