Oakbridge Names Ledyard Chief Operating Officer; Hub Hires Nashville Advisors

Atlanta-area-based Oakbridge Insurance, one of the largest privately owned agencies in the Southeast, named John Ledyard chief operating officer and executive vice president.

    Ledyard

Ledyard spent almost 11 months at Higginbotham, a Texas-based insurance brokerage and agency, much of that time in leadership positions, his Linkedin page shows.

At Oakbridge, Ledyard will work to optimize organizational structure, enhance client services and support Oakbridge’s continued growth, the company said in a news release. Since the agency was founded in 2020, it has grown rapidly, acquiring more than 40 agencies in the Southeast.

Hub International, an insurance broker and financial services firm with offices across North America and headquarters in Chicago, said it had hired financial advisors Steven Glasgow and Jordan Sibler, of Nashville, and acquired their books of business.

The two will join Hub Mid-South, the company said.

And in North Carolina, Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey named David Yetter to the role of deputy commissioner and chief actuary.

Yetter has been an actuary in the Department of Insurance since 2018. He is a native of Oklahoma City and is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, DOI said in a bulletin.

Yetter has more than 25 years of government and private sector experience in insurance and is a member of the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries. He replaces Rick Kohan, who retired on March 1.
