Princess Beatrice has reportedly been resting in a £3.5 million ($A6.9 million) home as she awaits the birth of her second child.

The 36-year-old daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson announced in October that she was expecting a baby with property developer husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The couple welcomed daughter Sienna, three, in 2021 – but Edoardo also has son Christopher Woolf, known as Wolfie, eight, from previous partner Dara Huang.

The Sun reports Beatrice and Edoardo are currently splitting their time between their London apartment at St James’s Palace and their £3.5 million ($A6.9 million) country home in the Cotswolds.

The pair snapped up the estate in 2021. The incredible pad boasts six bedrooms and numerous reception rooms, which are perfect for hosting guests and royal family members.

There is even a guesthouse separate from the property, which Beatrice and Edoardo renovated from an outhouse.

Fit for royalty, the farmhouse offers numerous extravagant features, including an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts.

To ensure privacy is maintained, Beatrice and Edoardo have installed a six-foot security fence around their property.

    Elite neighbours

There are also a number of family members nearby too.

Beatrice’s cousin Zara Tindall and husband Mike are neighbours, meaning Sienna will have the chance to hang out with their three kids, Mia, 10, Lena, six, and Lucas, three.

Edoardo’s parents also have a home in the Cotswolds, so they can spend time with their grandkids.

Meanwhile, Beatrice’s parents Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew are less than two hours away by car at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

    Close to Andrew and Fergie

The Sun previously reported that Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie are taking it in turns to check in on Andrew.

Once a fixture at A-list parties and known for his high-profile lifestyle, the disgraced Duke of York, 64, spends most of his time shut away at the “crumbling” Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Five years after his catastrophic Newsnight interview triggered the end to his public life, Andrew now leans on his “protective” daughters.

“The girls take the grandchildren to visit him most weekends,” a source told HELLO!

“They are spending far more time with him now than they have done in recent years.

“They are quite close to their father; they seem to be quite protective towards him.”

The scandal-hit Prince – who shares his £30 million ($A57 million), 30-bedroom home with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson – is said to have found solace in his grandkids.

He has been seen driving Sienna Mapelli-Mozzi – the three-year-old daughter of Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi – around the Windsor Estate.

Andrew has also been helping his young granddaughter take the reins as she learns to ride horses, which is a popular hobby in the royal family.
